According to H. M. Worth, it is better to suspect on ominous lesion (like carcinoma) and be found wrong, than not to suspect and be proved wrong. Definition of Pre -Malignant Lesion : It is defined as morphologically altered tissue in which malignancy is more likely to occur than its apparently normal counterpart.
